Single: Where do children go? feat. Glen Ricks
Artist: Wise Wurdz
Release: April 2020

Many years ago I had the privilege of knowing the Cool Ruler, Gregory Issac as my restaurant was beside his African Museum Record Shop on Red Hills Road, Kingston. He gave me the opportunity to collaborate with him on a track: BLACK-A-KILL BLACK to which I was more than delighted.

This single was originally written for “Esquina Riddim” but as we mentioned earlier for things in life we took another course. Our producer “Blow Riddim” decided to create the music from scratch to get to this masterpiece. Wise Wurdz is an artist of the new era of dub poetry, a sub-genre of reggae that was recognized thanks to its greatest exponent “Mutabaruka.” Wise Wurdz started writing songs for world-renowned artists. For this single he give us a collaboration with a living legend, such as Glen Ricks, the first Jamaican to sign for a record label outside of Jamaica, the one that paved the way for Bob Marley and those who came after.
